Now What? - Switch Projects
This is a SWITCH for a full sized quilt! I made EBB TIDE some years ago (HB writes). I showed it several times but it was so big it was unwieldy! It languished, folded, in a bag for a couple of years when I had an idea to make a quilted jacket. I had no idea if my pattern would work (it was my first time drafting my own pattern) so I thought I would test my drafting skills and (hopefully) make myself a coat.
It worked! And I continued to develop the pattern, with the chevron patchwork design, until it was ready to publish...
thus HANTEN was born.

This boxy, edge-to-edge jacket is inspired by the shape of the traditional Japanese workman's coat. Includes full instructions for drafting your own simple pattern pieces (mostly square!) as well as the chevron patchwork design.
